Welcome to the School of Biomedical and Allied Health Sciences within the College of Health Sciences, in the University of Ghana. Our multidisciplinary environment offers students an early learning opportunity to acquire collaborative skills essential for holistic delivery of healthcare services to patients and families. You will benefit from learning alongside other students studying towards a diversity of undergraduate degree programmes in the health sciences, including Dental Laboratory Science, Dietetics, Medical Sciences (a pre-requisite for the MBBS programme in the School of Medicine and Dentistry), Medical Laboratory Sciences, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Radiography (Diagnostic and Therapy) and Respiratory Therapy.  Our professional graduate programmes are designed to enhance the clinical and laboratory skills of practicing health professionals, and to provide a post-graduate pathway into the health professions. We offer Professional Masters Degrees in Audiology, Dietetics, Medical Laboratory Sciences and in Speech and Language Therapy, and research thesis PhD degrees in Dietetics, Chemical Pathology and Medical Microbiology.

Our students benefit from our long-standing academic and professional links with the largest tertiary hospital in the nation; the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, which is steps away from our Central Administration Building on the Korle Bu campus. The hospital offers unparalleled access to rigorous hands-on training by leading experts to help you develop clinical and laboratory skills in the health sciences.
