Frank Ekow Atta Hayford is a senior lecturer and a registered Dietician at the Department of Dietetics. His research interest is in the areas of Clinical / Public Health Nutrition in the life cycle, Nutritional Epidemiology and Immunology and Sports Nutrition.

Research Areas

His current research work aims at identifying and enhancing host factors/products against infectious diseases such as tuberculosis (TB) using nutritive agents/substances such as omega-3 fatty acids as host-directed therapeutics, as alternative and innovative adjunct therapy disease management strategies
