Mission: To produce highly qualified and competent physiotherapists who will provide promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitation services to meet the health needs of the nation and the global community through world-class excellence in physiotherapy education, clinical practice, research and dissemination of knowledge.
Research interest
Dr. Gifty Gyamah Nyante’s research focus is on childhood disabilities, with a special emphasis on cerebral palsy. She conducts qualitative research in rehabilitation and is dedicated to developing and implementing effective rehabilitation models for children with disabilities.

Notable Achievement
Two years project in collaboration with London School Of Hygiene and Tropical
Medicine. Project Tittle: Evaluating the impact of a community-based parent-training programme for children with cerebral palsy in Ghana. Funding – CBM International through London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine In collaboration with CBM, Ghana and Presbyterian Church of Ghana. Role: Local PI responsible for managing the project team and activities throughout the project life cycle of 2 years.
