On behalf of the School of Biomedical and Allied Health Sciences (SBAHS), University of Ghana, a team led by Ms. Gifty Naa Shika Solomon and Mr. Bernard Saha Asante paid a courtesy visit to the Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Francis Amoakohene, at his office in Kumasi.
The visit served two key purposes: to extend heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Amoakohene—a proud past student of SBAHS and a former President of the University of Ghana Allied Health Students Association (UGAHSA)—on his recent appointment, and to reconnect with him as part of SBAHS’s renewed efforts to strengthen ties with its alumni.

As a token of appreciation and pride, the team presented Dr. Amoakohene with a beautifully crafted crystal plaque, symbolizing the school’s recognition of his achievements and continued dedication to public service.
Dr. Amoakohene warmly received the delegation, expressed his gratitude for the honor, and encouraged current students and alumni to remain committed to excellence and national development.

SBAHS continues to celebrate the accomplishments of its alumni and looks forward to deepening engagement across its growing network.
